Astronauts Hooked Themselves Up Inside The LM to Support Their Weight.
In the Fake Moon-Set-Studio Bay, when the Astronauts went inside the Fake Lunar Module Stage-Prop, the over-head support wires from the ceiling were not able to take all the heavy weight of the Astronauts spacesuits and backpack for them. The Astronauts had to Hook themselves onto a roof attachment inside the Fake Stage-Prop Lunar Module, so all of their extra weight was supported for them, so they were able to stand. The Astronauts were only pretending to be on the Moon, and were not actually in the lighter weight of one-sixth gravity. The Astronauts were only able to leap and jump around in their heavy spacesuits and backpack, with the aid of over-head wire attachment supports from the ceiling.
Astronaut John says at :31 "Charlie why don't you let me get them, let me clean you off, you go up in there(Inside the Fake Lunar Module Stage-Prop) Hook-on and let me just carry those things upstairs." Astronaut Charlie tries to cover up what John said by saying at :37 "Hook-on to what? Astronaut John replies, "Hook-on to the up, upstairs." Charlie replies "I'm not going to Hook-on to anything up there, I'm gonna stand there and wait on you."
