Mini Fruit Tarts with Vanilla Cream by MJ's Kitchen with English subtitles
Today I'm sharing recipe of Mini Tarts.
this I'll make with fresh fruits.
you can choose any seasonal fruits of your choice.
Let's start making tarts.
Ingredients:
To make the base of tarts we need:
2 cup Flour,
5 tbsp Butter,
5 tbsp Icing Sugar,
1 Egg Yolk,
1 tsp Vanilla Essence.
To make Vanilla Cream we need:
2 cup Milk,
3 tbsp Sugar,
2 tbsp Corn Flour,
1 tsp Vanilla Essence.
& fresh fruit chunks for decorating.
Method:
- Add butter to the bowl & beat it a little.
- Now add icing sugar, 1 egg yolk & 1 tsp vanilla essence, beat it again.
- Now add 2 cup flour, mix it with spatula.
- Mix it with soft hand now.
- It'll be like bread crumbs, now add water 1 spoon at a time.
- & mix it with soft hand & make the dough.
- Now refrigerate it for half an hour.
- Flat the dough with roller.
- Cut in round with cutter.
- Assemble it in cupcakes tray.
- Press it firmly with fingers.
- Poke holes using fork
- 12 tarts can be made from this dough
- you can freeze the leftover dough if only making 6 now, put it in air tight container or seal properly with plastic wrap.
- Oven is preheated, now let's bake it.
- Bake for 12~15 minutes at 180° C.
- Or bake it on stove like we bake cakes in our previous videos if you don't have oven.
- Let's make vanilla cream now.
- Turn on the flame, add 2 cup milk & sugar to the pan.
- Take a little milk aside & mix corn flour in it.
- Cook it until boiling.
- Once milk is boiling, now add cornflour.
- Add 1 tsp Vanilla Essence.
- Cook it for 1 minute, continue whisk.
- Vanilla cream is ready, now turn off the flame & let it cool down.
- Remove the tarts from oven & let them at room temperature.
- Fill the vanilla cream in piping bag or use spoon if you don't have piping bag.
- Pour cream in tarts first.
- Garnish it with fruits.
- Our Fruit tarts are ready.
