The Nur Misuari-led faction of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) has taken new hostages in Zamboanga City. ABS-CBN News Zamboanga's Queenie Casimiro reports that 20 more civilians in Barangay Mampang were taken hostage at around 3 a.m. today. The MNLF rebels reportedly used the victims as human shields to drive away policemen who were blocking their way. The rebels allegedly wanted to go to Barangay Talon-Talon from their original location in Barangay Mampang. - ANC Headstart, 10 September 2013
