MANILA -- The Herculean task of feeding and caring for tens of thousands of displaced residents has been a huge challenge for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the local government of Zamboanga and hundreds of volunteers. In an interview with ANC on Saturday, DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman said the government has allotted P3.6 billion for the construction of bunkhouses for residents affected by the ongoing standoff in the city.
