MANILA, Philippines – Boxing hero Manny Pacquiao is in the thick of preparations for his November 24th fight against American fighter Brandon Rios. The bout, which will be at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Macau, China, is Pacquiao’s first fight outside the United States since July 2006. If the GenSan native wins, that will keep alive the prospect of a "superfight" with Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao hopes that more of his fans would be able to watch the fight and support him. The Filipino suffered two straight defeats last year. He lost a controversial decision to Timothy Bradley in June 2012, and suffered a stunning knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez last December. Pacquiao is guaranteed $18 million in the Rios fight. -- Mornings @ ANC, October 22, 2013.
