MANILA, Philippines – The Adamson University Lady Falcons defeated the UP Lady Maroons in their first game of the second round of the UAAP Season 76 women’s volleyball tournament. Adamson, which ended the first round with a 3-4 win-loss record, outclassed the Lady Maroons over three sets. The Lady Falcons overcame UP’s solid blocking in the first, with Shiela Pineda, Amanda Villanueva and Faye Guevara all coming up with key hits for Adamson.
