Good morning, keep an umbrella handy. A band of rain is dropping showers on southern inland regions with heavy rain alerts being issued for Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do provinces as well as Jeju Island.
Rain will pour down on southern parts of the country during the day, then central western regions will see heavy showers from this evening.
The central western regions will get soaked tomorrow. There could be up to 300 millimeters of rain so be well prepared for heavy showers.
What's more, the 13th typhoon of the season Lingling is making its way towards the central regions. Tropical Storm Lingling is forecast to continue to strengthen and hit Korean's central regions by the weekend bringing heavy rain and strong winds. We need to keep close watch over the typhoon's developments.
