U.S. President Trump has warned that he would get "tougher" on China in a second term if Beijing drags on its trade talks with the U.S.
His remarks come after Washington and Beijing imposed new tariffs on each other on Sunday.
In a Twitter post on Tuesday, Trump said the U.S. is "doing very well in our negotiations with China"
and played up the damage the U.S. tariffs are having on China.
But, he did not specify how he would get tougher with Beijing.
After Washington put tariffs on China on Sunday, Beijing filed a complaint at the World Trade Organization over the U.S. import duties,... which is its third time challenging Trump’s China-specific tariffs.
