The South Korean government has allocated a record high 21-point-1 billion U.S. dollars for job creation next year a whopping 21 percent increase from this year's budget.
The government says nearly half of the budget, or 8-point-4 billion dollars, will be used to provide financial support for the unemployed,... adding that this reflects the uncertainties in the job market.
The government has also earmarked some 2-point-4 billion dollars for direct job creation programs,... including one that aims to provide jobs for vulnerable people and the elderly.
