MHA Reopens Anti-Sikh Riot Cases Where Kamal Nath Is Mentioned

Union home ministry's Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken up the anti-Sikh riot cases where the accused were either acquitted or the trial was closed. On 1 November 1984, after Indira Gandhi's assassination, anti-Sikh riots broke out in Delhi as a result of which 3000 Sikhs were murdered by mobs. Kamal Nath had allegedly given shelter to five people who were accused in the murder cases.
