The Korean thanksgiving holiday Chuseok starts tomorrow, and President Moon Jae-in is wishing all Koreans a warm-hearted holiday and a generous spirit.
In a video message to the nation, he said he hopes for a fairer society for everyone.
"An economy that's vibrant will make for a just society where there is mutual trust and in which people join hands for a peaceful Korean Peninsula."
Moon also said the nation is moving in a direction that will lead to mutual prosperity for all.
He offered consolation to those impacted by Typhoon Lingling while expressing appreciation for the first responders who work to keep the nation safe even during the holiday season.
