Markus Schäfer, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, responsible for Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development, spoke in his lecture 'R&D: shaping mobility in a transforming world' about why, that in the field of research & development, openness in technology, cooperation, efficiency and flexibility are more than ever the essential keys to success. Digitization and sustainability, a focus on electrification and, last but not least, a first-class global team all play central roles.
