How to Find your WiFi Network Security Type on Windows 10?

Method 1:

Step 1: Open Command Prompt, and then type the command below:-

wlan show interfaces

After that, hit enter key on the keyboard.

Step 2: Now, go to Authentication section. It will tell your WiFi Network Security Type.


Method 2:

Step 1: Open Settings App, and then click on 'Network & Internet.'

Step 2: Click on WiFi in left Menu.

Step 3: Click on WiFi Network that you are connected to.

Step 4: Scroll down to properties section, and then 'security type.'


Method 3:

Step 1: Open 'Control Panel' App.

Step 2: Click on 'network and internet,' and then click on 'network and sharing center.'

Step 3: Click on WiFi Network that you are connected to.

Step 4: Click on 'Wireless Properties' button, and then click on 'Security' tab.

Step 5: Now, go to 'security type.'
