LeBron James Denied Trademark
for 'Taco Tuesday' LeBron's
"Taco Tuesday" videos
have gone viral
on Instagram. LBJ Trademarks, one of James' companies,
submitted the trademark paperwork in August. According to the application, the trademark was to be
used in "social media, search engine marketing," as well as "inquiry marketing, internet marketing, mobile
marketing, blogging and other forms of passive,
shareable or viral communications channels." The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
refused the application on Wednesday. U.S. Patent and Trademark Office James' spokesman said
that the application
was filed "to ensure
LeBron cannot be
sued for any use of
'Taco Tuesday'." LeBron James' spokesman, via ESPN
