Cooking which food during fast, is one of the biggest questions asked during fasting. So, here we are bringing you the best and the easiest recipe for this Navratri. 'Upvas Ka Dosa' or 'Sabudana Dosa' is made using sago, samo, green chilli paste and other ingredients.
You can have this delicious 'Upvas Dosa' with some fresh coconut chutney and coriander mint chutney.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Samo & 1/2 cup Sabudana(washed & soaked)
- 8-10 Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder(roasted)
- 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
- Salt
- Water
- 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- Ghee
Method:
1. Take washed and soaked samo & sabudana; Drain out the water
2. Add that samo & sabudana into the mixture, followed by some curry leaves, cumin seed powder, green chilli paste, salt and grind it into a thin paste
3. Remove this in a bowl; Add water & powdered sugar and mix it well
4. Now, Heat a pan and take it off the gas
5. Bring down the temperature of the pan by wiping it with a wet cloth
6. Now, take 1 big spoon of dosa batter and spread it on the pan
7. Place the pan back on the flame and let it cook on a high heat
8. Once the batter dries out, add ghee and spread it evenly
9. Take it off the pan, once cooked and serve it
