New Motor Vehicles Act has created a panic among drivers/ riders on heavy traffic roads in the Guwahati City.

As per police reports, around Rs 1 lakh was collected by the city traffic police in the morning hours on Wednesday for violating traffic rules in tune with the amended of the Central Motor Vehicles Act 2019.

Notably, the violators have to pay their fines within next three days to avoid further legal action from the court.
