To celebrate the ongoing Rugby World Cup in Japan, farmers have created a design showing Japanese players in the world's largest rice paddy art.
The design, seen here on October 10, was created outside Gyoda city in Saitama prefecture, and depicts Japanese players Kazuki Himeno, Michael Leitch and Shiro Tanaka.
Visitors from the observation deck at the nearby Kodai Hasu Kaikan (Ancient Lotus Hall) can appreciate the colourful images created by planting varieties of rice plants over 27,195 square meters.
The rice paddy art was listed in the Guinness World Records as the '''Largest Rice Field Mosaic in the World'' in 2015. Every year new creations are displayed from early August to the middle of October.
