Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel visited the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai on October 18. He visited the ED office after being summoned over an alleged land deal with gangster Iqbal Mirchi. Iqbal Mirchi, who died in 2013, was known to be a close associate of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. On Oct 15, Praful Patel had dismissed the reports of him being summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED).
