World Marathon Record Holder Eliud Kipchoge has been honored with the highest honor in the nation for his achievements on the track including being the first human to run a marathon under two hours. President Uhuru Kenyatta awarded Kipchoge, Elder of the order of the Golden Heart in honour of Kenya’s heroes, past, present and future.
