ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికులు సమ్మె ఉధృతం చేశారు. 18వ రోజు సోమవారం కుటుంబసభ్యులతో కలిసి ఆందోళన చేపట్టారు. కార్మికులతో చర్చలు జరపాలని హైకోర్టు సూచించిన నేపథ్యంలో సమస్య కొలిక్కి వస్తుందని ఆశించినా.. సర్కార్‌ ఆ దిశగా ప్రయత్నాలు ప్రారంభించకపోవడంతో పరిస్థితి యథావిధిగా కొనసాగుతోంది. ఈ క్రమంలోనే కార్మికులు తమ సమ్మెను ఉధృతం చేసేందుకు నెలాఖరు వరకు ఉద్యమ కార్యాచరణను ప్రకటించి సోమవారం కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో కలిసి ఆర్టీసీ డిపో ఎదుట బైఠాయించారు. జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ కార్మికులు, వివిధ రాజకీయ పార్టీల నాయకులు, ఆయా కార్మిక సంఘాలు వినూత్న రీతిలో నిరసన చేపట్టారు.
