North Korea has lost the right to host the final of Asia's second-tier club competition.
The decision on Tuesday by the Asian Football Confederation comes a week after the surreal World Cup qualifier match between South Korea and North Korea, which was played in an empty stadium in Pyeongyang with no live media coverage.
In the statement, the AFC did not mention the inter-Korean showdown,… but said the change of plan was due to broadcasters' concerns and logistic challenges around working in Pyeongyang next week.
The AFC Cup final between North Korea's April 25 Sports Club and al-Ahed of Lebanon on November 2 will instead be held at a neutral ground in Shanghai.
