The National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) has released the 2017 report after a delay of two years. According to the report, 3,59,894 cases of female violence were reported across the country. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of violence against women. 56,011 cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh, 31,979 in Maharashtra and 30,992 in West Bengal respectively. The cases of crime with children and atrocities on Dalits have also increased considerably. The most worrying fact is the increasing violence against women. There has been an increase of 11 percent in cases of female violence in Delhi alone.

दो साल की देरी के बाद एनसीआरबी ने 2017 की रिपोर्ट जारी कर दी है। रिपोर्ट की मानें तो देशभर में महिला हिंसा के 3,59,894 मामले सामने आए। सबसे ज्यादा महिलाओं के साथ हिंसा उत्तरप्रदेश में हुई है। उत्तर प्रदेश में 56,011, महाराष्ट्र में 31,979 और पश्चिम बंगाल में 30,992 मामले सामने आए। इसले अलावा बच्चों के साथ अपराध और दलितों पर अत्याचार के मामले भी काफी बढ़े हैं। सबसे ज्यादा चिंता महिलाओं के साथ बढ़ती जी रही हिंसा को लेकर है। दिल्ली में महिला हिंसा के मामलों में 11 फीसदी का इजाफा हुआ है।
