About 1,000 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong wore masks and chanted slogans at their graduation ceremony on November 7, 2019.  Before the ceremony started, a man who claimed to be a student from mainland China, sang the national anthem and waved a knife at a group of protesting students.  The university decided to cut the ceremony short because of ‘special circumstances’.
