South Korean director Park Chan-wook has won an honorary award at a film festival in Norway.
At the opening ceremony Thursday at the Films From the South Festival, Park received the 'Silver Mirror' award in recognition of his long career and his diverse filmography.
The festival will be screening all 13 of Park's films, including 'Oldboy', 'Lady Vengeance' and 'Thirst.'
This year's edition is offering a special program to introduce South Korean films to local audiences as the two countries mark 60 years of bilateral relations.
