The massive Sivalinga at the sanctum sanctorum of the Sri Brihadeeswarar temple, better known as Big Temple, was swathed in cooked rice and decorated with boiled vegetables as Annabishekam ritual was performed on the occasion of Aippasi Pournami on Tuesday.
