JNU Announces Partial Roll-back in Fee Hike After Massive Protests. After months of protest by students that intensified over the last few days, the administration of the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi on Wednesday announced a partial roll-back in the fee hike. The authorities will also provide assistance to students of economically weaker sections. HRD Secretary R Subrmanyam in a tweet confirmed the development. However, the JNU Students' Union said the strike will continue.

जेएनयू में छात्रों की फीस बढ़ाने के फैसले को सरकार ने वापस ले लिया है। HRD मिनिस्ट्री ने ट्वीट कर इसकी जानकारी दी है। जिसके मुताबिक दिल्ली के जवाहर लाल नेहरू यूनिवर्सिटी में छात्रों की फीस अब नहीं बढ़ाई जाएगी। फीस बढ़ोतरी के खिलाफ छात्रों के विरोध प्रदर्शन और हंगामे को देखते हुए सरकार ने ये फैसला वापस ले लिया है।
