Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde was sworn in as the 47th Chief Justice of India in a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi today. Justice SA Bobde take oath by President Ram Nath Kovind in the presence of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He has been part of several key cases, including the five-judge constitution bench that passed the historic verdict that cleared the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

मुख्य न्यायाधीश रंजन गोगोई के रिटायरमेंट के बाद आज जस्टिस एस ए बोबडे ने देश के 47वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के तौर पर शपथ ली. राष्ट्रपति भवन में हुए कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने जस्टिस बोबडे को पद एवं गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई. जस्टिस बोबडे ने शपथ ग्रहण के बाद अपनी मां के पैर छूर आशीर्वाद लिया. शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम में उप राष्ट्रपति वैंकेया नायडू, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह समेत कई वीवीआईपी मेहमान मौजूद रहे.
