Pawan Jallad, who is currently in Meerut, told that If the government had expedited on executing the hanging of the Nirbhaya case convicts, the Hyderabad case might not have happened. He said I am ready to execute the hanging of the convicts. He also said I come from the family of executioners. I am the fourth generation after my great grandfather Lakshman Jallad, grandfather Kalu Ram Jallad and father Mammu Jallad.

दिल्ली के निर्भया केस में दोषियों के लिए राहत के तकरीबन हर कानूनी रास्ते धीरे-धीरे बंद हो रहे हैं। अब प्रशासन के सामने बड़ी चिंता ये है कि अगर दोषियों को फांसी दी जाती है तो जल्लाद कौन होगा। खबर है कि मेरठ से पवन जल्लाद को इसके लिए तिहाड़ जेल बुलाया जा रहा है। पवन का 'जल्लाद' वाले पेशे से पुश्तैनी नाता है। क़रीब 50 साल से उनका परिवार ये काम करता आ रहा है। पवन का जल्लाद वाला पेशा पुश्तैनी है। पवन के परिवार में 'जल्लाद' का काम पिछली चार पीढ़ियों से किया जा रहा है। जल्लाद की पारिवारिक विरासत को संभालने वाले पवन चौथी पीढ़ी हैं।
