As Subaru as always - ecological and efficient like never before. Thanks to the e-BOXER hybrid technology, the fifth generation of the Subaru Forester enjoys the advantages of the ECO label. The new Subaru Forester ECO HYBRID has been developed on the acclaimed Subaru Global Platform, released by the Impreza and the XV, which represents a significant improvement in terms of dynamic behavior, level of dynamism and stability, as well as a greater ability to circumvent unforeseen risks, a more sensitive steering and exceptionally low vibrations that result in great ride comfort.

More secure than ever, the new Forester ECO HYBRID is the most technologically advanced Subaru of the current European range of the brand, being equipped with the most advanced advanced security technologies that have earned it to be recognized as the safest vehicle in the history in crash tests of the New Vehicle Evaluation Program of Japan (JNCAP).

The Subaru EyeSight Preventive Security system, which is already part of the Impreza, XV, Levorg, Outback and Forester equipment of the previous generation, is now complemented by the new DMS (Driver Monitoring System). DMS is not only an absolute novelty, but it is also a unique system in the world, since it uses facial recognition to monitor the driver and detect distractions or situations of fatigue at the wheel. If any of these situations occur while driving, the DMS issues an audible warning. Also, the DMS automatically adjusts the position of the seat, the exterior mirrors, the chosen temperature, and the content shown on the instrument panel and on the multifunction display. The DMS system can store up to 5 different conductor profiles.

The new Forester ECO HYBRID also introduces the Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) that helps avoid collisions when driving in reverse, automatically braking the car if necessary to avoid an accident or reduce the consequences thereof.
