Firefighters in southern China rescued a Samoyed dog trapped on the roof of a seven-storey building.

The video, filmed in the city of Neijiang in Sichuan Province on December 3, shows a fireman tied by a safety rope crawling down the roof slowly to approach the dog, while setting up a rope ladder for it.

The fireman then slowly carried the dog onto the ladder and the dog ran up and down the roof, rushing back to its owner immediately.

The Samoyed had reportedly got its leg stuck in the canopy on the roof and could not move.
