As many as 43 people died after a fire broke out in a factory in Delhi’s Anaj Mandi on Dec 08. At least 30 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The fire had been doused. It is a factory where school bags, bottles and other materials were kept. The rescue operation is still underway. Home Minister Amit Shah instructed officials to provide all possible assistance on an urgent basis.
