Union Budget 2020-21 is likely set to be presented on Saturday, February 1, 2020.This will be the first time after 2015-16 when the budget to be presented on Saturday. This will be the second Budget of the current BJP-led NDA government after the General Elections. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said here on Friday when asked about will the Government continue with the tradition of presenting the budget on the first Day of February or will there be any change as first day of February 2020 is Saturday, a non-working day.

केंद्र की मोदी सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल का दूसरा आम बजट 1 फरवरी 2020 को पेश हो सकता है. संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी का कहना है कि आम बजट अगले साल 1 फरवरी 2020 को पेश हो सकता है. इस बजट सेशन की तैयारी जोरों से शुरू हो चुकी है. इस बजट से सभी को काफी उम्मीदें हैं. लेकिन, सरकार के सामने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती देश की इकोनॉ‍मिक ग्रोथ को पटरी पर लाना है. हालांकि इस बार मोदी सरकार टैक्सपेयर को बड़ी राहत दे सकती है. सरकार टैक्स में कटौती कर सकती है.
