Locals staged protest at at Collectorate -Hazratganj road against Citizenship (Amendment) Act CAA and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow.

Lawyers also took part in the protest. The protest turned violent after stone pelting started. The lawyer asked the question that “if one of a person’s mother or father is Muslim then how will CAA going to affect him or her?.”
