Delhi's Tis Hazari court on Friday sentenced him to life imprisonment after being found guilty of Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who was expelled from BJP in Unnao case. Reacting to the sentence awarded to Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the
case, famous poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar has also commented in a tense tone, tweeting that the court sentenced the Kuldeep Sengar to life imprisonment, now to see How quickly he falls ill and is shifted to the hospital.

उन्नाव रेप केस में बीजेपी से निष्कासित किए जा चुके विधायक कुलदीप सिंह सेंगर को दोषी पाए जाने के बाद शुक्रवार को दिल्ली की तीस हजारी कोर्ट ने उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है. रेप केस में कुलदीप सिंह सेंगर को मिली सजा पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए मशहूर शायर और गीतकार जावेद अख्तर ने भी तंज भरे लहजे में कमेंट किया है, उन्होंने Tweet किया है कि रेपिस्ट कुलदीप सेंगर को कोर्ट ने उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई है, अब देखना है कि वह कितनी जल्दी बीमार होता है और उसे अस्पताल में शिफ्ट कर दिया जाता है।
