While addressing a public rally in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said, “Whosoever spreading rumours against me, I challenge them to go and check all my work if you find any kind of smell of discrimination, bring it in front of the country.” PM Modi was countering his detractors who have accused him of being discriminatory towards Muslims by enacting the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) which will give Indian citizenship to non-Muslims who faced religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
