Nawada is a beautiful and historic district in South Bihar. It is headquartered in the city of Nawada, 93 kilometers south-east of Patna. Nestled in the lap of nature, Nawada district is known for many major tourist destinations.
The Kakolat Falls, Prajatantri Gate, Narada Museum, Sekhodevara and Guniaji Teerth and Dona Panchayat of Hisua Block are very old temple pilgrimage sites. Adi is one of the major tourist destinations here. Nalanda is situated in the north of Nawada, Koderma district of Jharkhand in the south, Sheikhpura and Jamui in the east and Gaya district in the west. Magahi is the dialect here and Hindi and Urdu are the main languages.
