Ahead of February 8 Delhi assembly election, BJP’s core committee meeting at party president and Union home minister Amit Shah’s residence on Sunday to discuss candidates for the upcoming polls. In the late night meeting that lasted seven hours, BJP leaders, including party’s working president JP Nadda. Delhi Jawaharlal Nehru University would move towards normalcy on Monday, when classes are expected to resume today. The officials are confident that students would choose to attend classes rather than boycott them. Amid the ongoing escalation between Iran and the US, on Sunday once again, there is a strong attack on the US military base in Iraq. Eight rockets were fired at the US airbase in Al Balad, Iraq, four people were injured in the attack.
