Soon you will see the name in Sanskrit instead of Urdu in addition to Hindi-English on the signboard of the railway stations of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Railway officials have decided that the name of the stations will be written in Sanskrit instead of Urdu on all railway stations and platforms of the state.

देवभूमि उत्तराखंड के रेलवे स्टेशनों के साइनबोर्ड पर जल्द ही आपको हिंदी-अंग्रेजी के अलावा उर्दू की जगह संस्कृत में वहां का नाम दिखाई पड़ेगा। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने फैसला किया है कि राज्य के सभी रेलवे स्टेशनों और प्लेटफॉर्म पर उस स्टेशनों का नाम उर्दू की जगह संस्कृत में लिखा जाएगा।
