Husein, a young man from the Tanah Datar Regency of West Sumatra is working to make a difference to his environment and take waste control into his own hands by making reusable bamboo straws.

Together with his colleagues at the voluntary Sumatran foundation, he is producing a sustainable solution to single-use plastics and working to actively promote this environmentally friendly alternative to the community.
