Tourists during a jungle safari in central India had a scary encounter when a tiger chased their bus for around 200 metres on a forest road.
On February 14 at around 3:30pm tourists on the Naya Raipur safari were travelling on a tour bus, with some plastic hanging from the rear door.
A tiger emerged from the jungle and grabbed the plastic in its mouth and refused to let go for some minutes, until another tiger came from behind and distracted it.
Suddenly someone from the bus asked to move the bus, but the determined tiger chased the tourist bus for about 200 metres.
The tourists can be heard screaming while some were laughing during the chase, until the tiger eventually gave up.
The district forest officer terminated three employees of the jungle safari for lapses of judgement on their part.
