नागरिकता संशोधन कानून पर बवाल के बाद असम में मौजूद बंगाली और असमी हिंदुओं के बीच एकता की भावना को और मजबूत बनाने के लिए एक बड़ा प्रस्ताव सामने आया है। इसके मुताबिक अगर बंगाली और असमी हिंदू आपस में विवाह करते हैं तो उन्हें अपनी जिंदगी की गाड़ी आगे बढ़ाने के 40 हजार रुपए की आर्थिक मदद की जा सकती है,ये सहायता उन्हें राज्य भाषाई अल्पसंख्यक विकास बोर्ड की तरफ से प्रस्तावित एक योजना के तहत उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। इसके जरिए ये कोशिश होगी दो समुदायों के बीच के संबंधों को मजबूती प्रदान की जाए।
