MCA has urged the government to consider providing assistance to e-hailing and taxi drivers in its economic stimulus package meant to help mitigate the effects of the Covid-19.
MCA Government Monitoring Committee Member Dr Tee Ching Seng said e-hailing and taxi drivers suffer from a 70% drop in income daily since the Covid-19 outbreak.
As part of MCA’s “Mask is a Must” public health campaign, Dr Tee and several other MCA leaders distributed 400 face masks to e-hailing and taxi drivers around Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Wednesday.
