Residents of Okun Glass village, Ilaase, in the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State have narrated how the Nigerian Navy invaded their community, evicted them and destroyed their homes without prior notice.

The operation was carried out on the directives of the Federal Government on the strength that vandalism of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation pipelines thrived in the community.
