Strong winds of up to 70kmh leave thick rime ice on poles and trees in Germany's Black Forest near Freiburg.
At 1250m above sea-level, deep in the German Black Forest photographer Steffen Schwenzer captured this thick rime ice on poles and trees.
Steffen said: "A cold front passed the day before and brought a frosty and foggy night with wind gusts u to 70kmh causing this rime ice to form."
This footage was filmed on January 29.
