Hundreds of gathered outside a Cape Town court on Friday (February 21) ahead of the appearance of Mohhdian Pangarker, the man accused of murdering eight-year-old Tazne Van Wyk.
A brief scuffle broke out outside Goodwood Magistrate’s Court when community members ripped off a section the court’s palisade fencing. Police fended off the crowd and Voortrekker Road was closed to traffic.
Pangarker appeared briefly in court and the case was postponed to 17 April.
