EXCLUSIVE: Shocking footage filmed by the doorman of the store in Halifax, West Yorks shows a colleague trying to calm down the enraged employee
A Greggs customer says a member of staff threatened to slash his throat and throw boiling water over him in a mix-up over his latte order.

Dad-of-two Dwayne Poyser, 31, said he feared for his life after the employee “just kicked off”.
Shocking footage filmed by the doorman, of Halifax, West Yorks, shows a colleague desperately trying the calm the man down behind the counter.

Dwayne is heard saying: “I’m reporting him, mate. He’s getting reported for threats to kill. It’s being recorded.”

The employee is then seen grabbing a cup with a man shouting out “boiling water, boiling water”.

And after other customers place themselves in front of the counter and warn him he’d go to jail, he said: “Do you think I’m asked about jail? I’ve been to jail before you muppet.”
A customer said: “You don’t do that to your customers, all he said was that he wanted a large latte.”

But the staff member carried on: “You’re a f***ing dead man. I’m going to smash your head in.”

Dwayne had been on his way to work with his brother Paul, 41, on the eastbound A64 services at Tadcaster on Tuesday morning.
He said: “I ordered two egg and bacons and two large lattes.

“The guy, I don’t know if he misheard, but he started making two small ones. I said, ‘sorry mate we have two large’ and he just kicked off.

“I heard him mumble something and I said, ‘sorry mate’ and that was it, he started kicking right off.
”He threatened to slash our throats and ripped his pin off and went round the back.

“I feared for my life. I did think what is he going to get. Because I work doors I’m always getting knives pulled out on me, I was in a situation.”

Dwayne, who works at the Maggie’s bar in Halifax, West Yorks, added: “He was really really aggressive.

"To be honest I was a bit shook up because he said he was going to slash our throats and he ran round the back, I thought bloody hell. We stayed where the cameras were.

“I pulled my phone out just in case he came back with a knife and he’s come running back round, grabbed hold of a cup filled with boiling water and came over to us as if he was going to throw it.
”We were still recording and he was calling me and my brother fathead and smackhead, ‘get outside, the boys are going to be here in five minutes, watch you’re a dead man’.”

Dwayne said the store manager was “very apologetic” but he only got £100 to spend in store from Greggs’s head office.

He said: ”From the injuries that it would have caused if he chucked the boiling water over me, I don’t feel it’s right.”
A Greggs spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident in York East shop which is managed by our franchise partner Euro Garages.

“We do not tolerate unacceptable behaviour from any representatives of the Greggs brand and we can confirm that Euro Garages will take the appropriate action.

“We have been in regular contact
