Delhi cabinet minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Rai, along with other party leaders, on late Monday night reached the residence of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to request the latter to deploy security forces in order to restore peace and harmony in the national capital where violent clashes broke out between pro and anti-CAA protestors in which four people including a policeman died. Rai, along with AAP leaders, later headed back after police “assured” them that security will be deployed in vulnerable areas.
