Today I have an idea for you how to paint a very exciting picture by pulling on a string or a thin rope. It is very simple and the result will surprise you!

The cord or rope is about half a centimeter thick. The technique only works with slightly thicker cords. A certain weight should already exist so that the color is pressed and this great pattern is created.

At the beginning I measured the canvas and made a mark in the middle. The cord was fastened there with a pin.
Of course, you don't have to take the exact center, it can also be offset. Just make sure your cord is long enough. Not that something is missing when you drag across the canvas.

In this picture, I pulled the string across the canvas three times until I had a homogeneous drawing.

The final picture was taken a few hours later.
In the phase the color is already gelled and there are no more changes to the patterns.

Not all attempts are always successful with this casting or painting technique. Here you just have to try how often you pull the string over the color to get a great result.
