Demonstrations have been going on for more than two months about the Citizenship Amendment Act in Shaheen Bagh. This petition was heard in the Delhi High Court on Friday. Petitioner Ajay Gautam had filed before the High Court that because of these demonstrations, an atmosphere of violence has been created in Delhi. In such a situation, it should be investigated who is funding these picketing demonstrations. Now the High Court has issued a notice to the Delhi Police, Delhi Government, Central Government on this petition and asked to reply by 30 April.

शाहीन बाग में नागरिकता संशोधन कानून को लेकर पिछले दो महीने से भी ज्यादा समय से प्रदर्शन जारी है. शुक्रवार को दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में इस याचिका पर सुनवाई हुई. याचिकाकर्ता अजय गौतम ने हाई कोर्ट में अर्जी डाली थी कि इन प्रदर्शनों की वजह से दिल्ली में हिंसा का माहौल बना है. ऐसे में इसकी जांच होनी चाहिए कि इन धरना प्रदर्शनों की फंडिंग कौन कर रहा है. अब हाई कोर्ट ने इस याचिका पर दिल्ली पुलिस, दिल्ली सरकार, केंद्र सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया है और 30 अप्रैल तक जवाब देने को कहा है.
