In an urgent sitting that ended at 1:42 am on Wednesday morning, the Delhi high court directed the Delhi Police to immediately escort some 20 persons injured in the ongoing riots in Mustafabad, North East Delhi to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital for treatment. The bench, comprising Justice S. Muralidhar and Justice A.J. Bhambhani, convened at the residence of Justice Muralidhar. The court order explained the circumstances of the unusual sitting.
